Upcoming Event Information: Martin County Amateur Radio Association Club POTA Date: Saturday May 24, 2025 Jonathan Dickinson State Park, Loxahatchee Pavilion Time: (setup 930) 10am-4pm MCARA has reserved the pavilion for the day as many members asked for a group POTA event. Bring your POTA gear & lunch. There is a nearby BBQ Charcoal grill if needed for hot food. Further details will be announced at May club meeting. We have the pavilion for the day but plan on setting up and start operating at 10am until 4pm or later anyone is welcome to join. Never tried HF or POTA? Great chance to try it out and learn how! Only a Technician? You can still come play on the HF bands with the club call sign and experienced control operators to guide you! Got questions? Bring them to this event to ask some of the Elmers; How to program your HT, learn how to be a POTA activator, learn about digital modes. We will be monitoring the local repeaters throughout the day.
