What could be more exciting than three whole days filled with thundering jets, vintage aircraft, good food, and Ham Radio?  Despite a few difficulties with our tower, we had a good turnout for the popular event again this year!  Our greatly expanded canopy space welcomed many new visitors, and several old friends!  More Info

For residents of Florida's coastal counties, the yearly start of Hurricane Season serves as a reminder to test our generators, clean out our gutters and swales, and stock up on fuel and non-perishable foods.  But as Hams, we have the additional charge of making sure we are equipped and prepared to communicate under emergency conditions. ARRL Field Day 2018

Erecting the new towerStuart's Sandsprit Park became the epicenter of Amateur Radio in Martin County on Friday morning with the setup of our stations for Field Day 2018.  While we deployed our new 106-foot tower trailer for the first time, several others worked to locate and capture two 70 cm foxes hiding in the foliage around the park.  The setup went flawlessly, with many hands making light the work.

Our stations went On-The-Air on Saturday afternoon at 2 PM, joining thousands of others in the largest Amateur Radio event of the year!  More Info
