      <title>August Regular MCARA Meeting (27 Aug 2026)</title>
      <description>&lt;font face="Verdana" style="font-size: 14px;"&gt;&lt;font face="Verdana" style="font-size: 14px;"&gt;The Martin County Amateur Radio Association normally meets on the 4th Thursday of each month, except in November, when we meet on the 3rd Thursday.&amp;nbsp; This month the meeting will be held in the Stuart Police Department located at 830 SE Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Stuart.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;br&gt;
The doors open around 6:30 PM and the meeting begins at 7:00 PM.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;br&gt;

Our association is open to people who are interested in getting their license, or "ticket," as well as "old timers" (people who've been in the hobby awhile).&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Come early (6:30 PM) and participate in the mini-fest! Bring amateur radio related items to sell or buy, or items of interest to you. We hope to see you there!&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</description>

  Present SKYWARN spotters: Please remember you need to update your training by attending a refresher class every two years- this is your chance to stay up-to-date on current procedures and changes at our local NWS office.&lt;br&gt;

  This SKYWARN Spotter Training classes, taught by a National&amp;nbsp;Weather Service meteorologist, will give you all the info needed&amp;nbsp;to become a registered SKYWARN spotter for the National Weather Service (NWS) Center of Melbourne, Florida.&lt;br&gt;
  &lt;br&gt;
  At the end of the class you will be issued a SKYWARN spotter number along with information to report weather phenomena directly to your local NWS Center.&lt;br&gt;
