Please join us on Monday night at 8:00 PM local time for a friendly Amateur Radio get together on the Stuart 145.150 repeater (-600 offset and 107.2 Hz tone).

This is a directed net, with a designated net control station. When your zone is called, check in with your phonetic call-sign, your name, and your location.

The Ragchew portion of the net will be immediately followed by a Trader's segment, during which you may offer to buy, sell, trade, or donate items of interest to fellow Amateurs.

The tone SHOULD be off for the net, but if for some reason you encounter trouble being heard, set your transmitted tone to 107.2 Hz.

The classes are open to the public. Anyone interested in weather, Amateur Radio, Aviation, CERT, Red Cross, 1st Responders, Police, Fire, Mobile Home Residents, etc. Bring a friend!

Present SKYWARN spotters: Please remember you need to update your training by attending a refresher class every two years- this is your chance to stay up-to-date on current procedures and changes at our local NWS office.

This SKYWARN Spotter Training classes, taught by a National Weather Service meteorologist, will give you all the info needed to become a registered SKYWARN spotter for the National Weather Service (NWS) Center of Melbourne, Florida.

At the end of the class you will be issued a SKYWARN spotter number along with information to report weather phenomena directly to your local NWS Center.

Join the Martin County Amateur Radio Association (MCARA) for our monthly Wingding—an evening of great food, fellowship, and amateur radio conversation. Whether you're a longtime operator, newly licensed, or simply curious about the hobby, you're invited to join us.

Enjoy a relaxed dinner while connecting with fellow amateur radio enthusiasts. Discussions often include emergency communications, antennas, new equipment, digital modes, contesting, public service events, and upcoming MCARA/Martin County ARES activities. The Martin County Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month. The meeting is held at the Martin County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) located at 800 SE Monterey Road in Stuart.

The doors open around 6:30 PM and the meeting begins at 7:00 PM. Please join us!

All people with an interest in Public Service and Amateur Radio are welcome to join us. Our association is open to people who are interested in getting their license, or "ticket," as well as "old timers" (people who've been in the hobby awhile).

Melbourne Hamfest

The Platinum Coast Amateur Radio Society (PCARS) will present the 61st Annual Melbourne Hamfest on October 9th and 10th at the Melbourne Auditorium, in Melbourne, Florida. General Admission is $10 at the door, and is good for both days. Age 18 and under Free.

The Hamfest operates from 12 PM to 6 PM on Friday, and from 9 AM to 3 PM on Saturday. Doors will open for setup on Friday, October 9th at 11 AM, and Saturday, October 10th at 7 AM.

Indoor swap tables are available at $40 each and reservations are recommended. Tailgating will be available for $20 per spot and reservations are recommended. A floor plan and reservation request form are available on the PCARS website at www.pcars.org.

The Martin County Amateur Radio Association normally meets on the 4th Thursday of each month, except in November, when we meet on the 3rd Thursday. This month the meeting will be held in the Stuart Police Department located at 830 SE Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Stuart.
The doors open around 6:30 PM and the meeting begins at 7:00 PM.

The Martin County Amateur Radio Emergency Service and the Martin County Amateur Radio Association will join forces to operate special Event Station N4A at the Stuart Airshow.

Member participation is free-- however there is a cost for tickets to get into the Air Show beginning on Saturday.

We will be monitoring the 145.150 and 147.060 repeaters.

Set-up for the Stuart Air Show will be on Thursday, November 12th beginning at 9:30 AM.

Operating hours:
Friday 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM STEM Students and Exhibitors
Saturday and Sunday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Operating frequency should be around 14.280 MHz and 21.280 MHz.

All participants are encouraged to get on the air and operate one of the stations. Please bring your headset if you plan to operate.

Tear-down will commence on Sunday at 5:00 PM.

You’re invited to participate in the Amateur Radio Special Event Station on Saturday December 5, 2026, at the Road to Victory Military Museum, located at 319 SE Stypmann Blvd, Stuart, FL. We’ll be setting up the antennas and radios early Saturday. Come operate our radios and tour the free museum between 8am and 3pm. Donations to the museum are appreciated! Bring a chair and a friend.

Background information-

Road to Victory Military Museum is a registered 501 (c)(3) not for profit agency. Its mission is to honor and

pay tribute to all the brave men and women who have served and are presently serving our country in the

Armed Forces. By the display of historical artifacts, uniforms, militaria, photographs, and vehicles both

historical and personal, we are able to pay homage to these heroes while informing and educating the public of their noble endeavors and our freedoms as Americans.

Road to Victory Military Museum is located at 319 SE Stypmann Blvd, Stuart FL 34994. The City of Stuart

generously provided the location (behind Memorial Park) and also the building, a former WWII barracks from Camp Murphy in Jonathon Dickinson Park.

The museum is open to the public every Saturday, 10am to 2pm and/or by appointment for school or veteran groups.
