Stuart Hamfest rates $99-119
The Monterey Inn is a small hotel at the Stuart side of the Palm City bridge. The hotel has only 18 rooms so it is advisable to book in advance. At the time we last contacted them they had open 10 rooms; five premium and five standard rooms. The hamfest rates are $99 per night for the standard and $119 for the premium rooms. From their website: "Our Premium upgrades are not standard motel rooms. We offer luxurious, rich colors, crown and door moldings, feather mattress covers, 800+ thread count linens, over sized pillows, fluffy bathrobes and bath towels, blow dryers, vanity make-up mirrors, irons and ironing boards". This hotel has new owners who finished remodelling in 2004, so it is locally owned and well maintained. You may call Susan at the Monterey Inn to reserve a room.
