Larger Building, more seating, K4LJP Tower trailer
Starting October we meet in a Larger Building with more seating- our old location could seat about 25 people- we now have double that capacity. The building is a house located at the rear of the Community Baptist Church property. If you have attended other meetings, just go to the end of the main drive, building is on the left with plenty of parking.
Lee, K4LJP brought his John Deere colored tower trailer to show our fellow members. The tower trailer is made from a recycled pop-up trailer which Lee sand-blasted and painted Green with yellow accents. The tower is an Aluma Tower which Lee has pivoting about a mount at the rear. Lee has done a great job fabricating this gem and intends to deploy it for live demonstrations of amateur radio including HF station operation. We're looking forward to seeing it in use at upcoming events.
After the club business was discussed, we watched a great video on the 2000 DXpedition to Clipperton Island.
