Hurricane Fair at Treasure Coast Mall highlights Emergency Communications

 

 

Both MCARA and MC ARES were represented at the Hurricane Fair at Treasure Coast mall this year. There was interest in Amateur Radio Emergency communications shown by young and old. Over 20 people signed up to attend the next Amateur Radio license class starting in July and the ARES group logged over 140 volunteer hours with over 22 hams participating in the event. The hurricane fair was a great success this year- thanks to all who volunteered for the event
