Dale DuKate, KM9T Silent Key
Photo from http://www.jtrg.org/
Dale DuKate, KM9T became a Silent Key on March 21, 2008. Dale was a Volunteer Examiner, active on the air and a good friend to many. He was a member of the Jupiter Tequesta Repeater Group.
In 2006 Dale and I chatted on the Jupiter repeater while traveling to the Orlando Hamfest on the Turnpike- we both made the repeater up to Yeehaw Junction- this was before the repeater was moved to it's new location. We then switched to simplex and chatted the rest of the way there. I don't remember exactly what we talked about but Dale was always fun to speak with and very friendly, as all Hams should be. We miss you Dale.
