Minutes for March 27 Meeting
6:30 p.m. Meeting commenced
Doug asked all in attendence to introduce themselves w/a small aside. There were 2 new faces one of whom joined our club again after being gone awhile, his name is David Ascher good to see him back!
Out for discussion on the Hamfest, asking for feed-back as to how we can improve. There was a very active discussion with many suggestions.
7:00 p.m.
Passed around were notes about how to get on the e-mail list on the new mcaraweb.com web-site. Also ballots for the election of club members. Some prizes were explained and tickets passed out.
7:15 p.m.
Doug gave a short presentation on his interest of Heath-kit items and encouraged us to look for unique historical items that are still out there today!
Bill, N4BKT suggested we consider Dupuis reserve for Field Day operations this year. Karen K8KB suggests we should coordinate with Martin County ARES club as we had a joint activity last year.
7:30 p.m
Election results provided and prizes awarded to Joe Sawyer KI4OXP, he received a repeater directory and Amy KI4RHM (that's me) won the manual for taking my General exam. Now I will need to study!
