About our site:

We have some unique features which allow us to organize our group activities and communicate via the web more efficiently. You don't need to register to visit or browse our site, but you do need to be a member to see details of other member profiles or photo albums. We invite you to join our club if you have an interest in Amateur Radio and electronics technology.

What's Happening
         Get Your
Ham Radio License!

On Saturday, February 17th the first session in a four-week FREE Amateur Radio Licensing Class was held.  We still have a few seats available, however!  The Martin County Amateur Radio Emergency Service (MC-ARES) and Martin County Amateur Radio Association (MCARA) jointly sponsor these sessions which are designed to help you obtain the entry level Technician Class FCC License.  The next session will be held this Saturday, February 24th.

Classes will be held at the Martin County Emergency Operations Center (EOC), located at 800 SE Monterey Road in Stuart, beginning at  09:00 AM.  Registration starts at 08:30 AM.  The general public is welcome.  Reservations are not required!   More Details

SKYWARN Spotter Training

(Newly Rescheduled)

Saturday, May 12th at 10:00 AM at the Martin County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) the National Weather Service will be conducting a FREE Basic-level training class for anyone interested in becoming a Skywarn weather observer. The class will be taught by NWS Warning Coordination Meteorologist (WCM) Scott Spratt KT4PD.

Coming up on Saturday, March 31st is the third in a monthly series of classes on Radio and Electronics.  Session #3 will allow us to further develop our soldering and component identification skills.  Sessions will include classroom instruction, and hands-on lab segments.  Reservations are not required, but space is limited.  More Info
